Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes opened the innings for Bangladesh as Tamim Iqbal just recovered from injury. Both of the openers’ poor form continues as none of them could make a mark today against the South Africa XI.
Soumya got out just for 3 runs while Kayes departed for 27 runs. They lost some quick wickets then but the man for Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan is back and he is back with a fifty. He scored 68 runs from 67 balls.
Sabbir Rahman failed in the Test series but has come back strongly in the practice match. He also scored a fifty and departed for 52 runs which included 2 fours and 3 massive sixes.
Bangladesh were all out for 255 runs in the end. Frylink, Siboto, Budaza and Phangiso all of them took 2 wickets each. South Africa XI need 256 runs to win the match.
