Shakib-Sabbir’s fifty guide Bangladesh to 255

Sabbir-Shakib both scored fifty

Bangladesh elected to bat first after winning the toss in the practice match between Bangladesh and South Africa. After losing early early wickets, they managed to score 255 runs in the end. 

Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes opened the innings for Bangladesh as Tamim Iqbal just recovered from injury. Both of the openers’ poor form continues as none of them could make a mark today against the South Africa XI.

Soumya got out just for 3 runs while Kayes departed for 27 runs.  They lost some quick wickets then but the man for Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan is back and he is back with a fifty. He scored 68 runs from 67 balls.

Sabbir Rahman failed in the Test series but has come back strongly in the practice match. He also scored a fifty and departed for 52 runs which included 2 fours and 3 massive sixes. 

Bangladesh were all out for 255 runs in the end. Frylink, Siboto, Budaza and Phangiso all of them took 2 wickets each. South Africa XI need 256 runs to win the match.
