After the massive defeat in the first Test against South Africa, Bangladesh Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim heaved criticisms on the bowling attack of the team. with several hours to go before the deciding match in Bloemfontein, premier pacer Mustafizur Rahman no further excitement knowing about the more pace friendly wicket of the Mangaung Oval.
“I generally don’t get pleased observing pitches. It’s not like that I become amused watching the ball skidding fast in any particular wicket. When I play, it’s my duty to perform well. My team will be benefitted when I play well,” Mustafizur Rahman said.
Despite saying that he did not observe the wicket that much, Mustafizur said, “I actually have not watched the wicket fully, only strolled beside that. But I have gathered the wicket better than that of the first Test.”
“We will try to bring better result for the team in the second Test and we are not thinking about the pitch in that extent. Wickets can be turned down in any wicket if we can bowl well,” he said.
