The match was reduced to 40 overs due to rain. Nepal u-19 batted first and with a handy contribution of opener Aasif Sheikh and two middle order batsman Rohit Kumar Bhim Sharki, they managed to score 167 runs in 40.1 overs before rain interrupted the match.
Nayeem Hasan was the pick of the man for Bangladesh u-19 who picked up 3 wickets for just 33 runs including 3 maidens.
After a long delay, the match was reduced to 40 overs and revised target for Bangladesh was 181 runs. In reply, openers Pinak Ghosha and Naim Shekh made a good start.

Though Pinak departed for 24, Naim kept going and scored a brilliant fifty. After his dismissal, the middle order except Afif Hossain couldn’t contribute well which resulted in a nail biter in the end.
Bangladesh needed 11 runs in the last over and they lost wicket in the first ball of that over. But then Nayeem and Robiul both hit fours and guided Bangladesh to a thrilling win by 2 wickets and with 1 ball in hand.
