Just when Saifuddin was forgetting the nightmare, it has haunted him back again and this time its Darren Sammy in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). This was even worse as he conceded 32 runs in an over.
The interesting thing is he was on fire before bowling his last over. He picked up three wickets and conceded just 18 runs in his first three overs. But in the end, his last over changed everything.
But Saifuddin said he doesn’t remember the bad memories and wants to only rememer the first three overs: “I just think that it was a bad day for me. The first three overs went very well. Unfortunately, the last over was bad. I always remember the good memories. In Sha Allah, I will play the next match remembering only the first three overs.”
He added: “Hasan Ali bhai is very experienced and Waqar Younis is one of the greatest as a pacer. There is no end to learning. I am learning as much as I can. I am working hard. I am trying to learn from my mistakes.”
Saifuddin also said about his team Comilla Victorians’ situation: “We played less matches than other teams. I hope we will be in top four after playing the next two matches. But now I am only thinking about tomorrow’s match”
