The ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is just getting better and better with fierce competition and matches going down to the wire.
Rangpur Riders have produced yet another exciting finish after winning against Chittagong Vikings by 3 wickets and hitting the last ball for six when they needed 3 to win.
When you have openers like Brendon McCullum and Chris Gayle, chasing 177 doesn’t looks so difficult to chase but when they both struggle and gets dismissed early, it happens the opposite.
Something similar happened today at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. McCullum and Gayle both were stuggling to put bat on ball and the required run rate was junping up.
After thr dismissal of McCullum, Rangpur Riders’ skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza came at the crease at one down and changed the game out of no where.
Mashrafe wanted to lead his side from the front and he was successful as ever. He scored 42 runs off just 17 balls including 4 fours and 3 massive sixes.
Earlier, he also picked up 1 wicket with the ball and for his match changing batting he was also named the man of the match.
