Sylhet Sixers have started their BPL journey with two wins in a row which looked unlikely to happen before the start of the tournament as they are termed as a weak side on paper.
After an impressive win against Comilla Victorians today, there is still a bad news for Sylhet Sixers skipper Nasir Hossain and team’s manager Habibul Bashar.
In the first match of the tournament, Nasir didn’t came on time during toss. Nasir came 5 minutes later after the arrival of match referee and opposition team’s captain Shakib Al Hasan.
According to the code of conduct, Nasir broke the rule of level-1. As a result, both the umpires complained to the match referee.
The match referee has warned Nasir and team’s manager for this issue. The skipper has agreed to his mistake but still 1 demerit point has been added to their name.
If 4 demerit point gets added to a player then he will face 1 match ban in the fifth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
