Shakib, Smith and Anderson remain number one in ICC rankings

In ICC Test rankings, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, Australia’s Steve Smith and England’s James Anderson stays in their No. 1 position.

Aussie skipper Steve Smith played a brilliant innings of 141 runs in the first Test against England and that helped him to stay at number one. This century has helped him to gain five points. Smith’s rating point is now 941.

This is fourth highest rating point in the history of Test cricket. Don Bradman has the highest rating point (961).

In the bowler’s rankings, James Anderson also stays at number one with 891 points. India’s Ravindra Jadeja is in 2nd position with 880 points and with 876 points, South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada is in 3rd position.

Though Shakib Al Hasan is playing in BPL right now, he has keep his number one place in the ICC all-rounders ranking with 438. Jadeja is at number two with 24 points less than Shakib. England’s Ben Stokes who missed the Ashes is the new number three replacing India’s Ravi Ashwin.
