Tamim-Litton fined, get on verge of suspension Comilla Victorians have registered fourth consecutive wins of this year’s BPL against Rangpur Riders on Saturday. Contrasting to the success of the team, the franchise have faced some debacles as their skipper Tamim Iqbal Khan and wicket keeper batsman Litton Kumar Das have been fined for unacceptable behavior in the field.

During the 14 run win of Comilla Victorians, some of the decisions made by the field umpires are dragged under question mark.

Television replays showed Chris Gayle was trapped leg before wicket in the first ball he encountered but the field umpire announced that not out. On the other hand, the delivery of Rashid Khan which grabbed the wicket of Chris Gayle lately was seen not hitting in line, therefore TV replays showed it not out.

Moreover, in the crucial situation of the match, Comilla Victorians wicket keeper batsman Litton Kumar Das shouted for an LBW decision which was rejected by umpires. Litton was seen agitated and threw the ball in anger.

After the match, both Tamim Iqbal and Litton Kumar were accused of breaking the Level – 3 of Code of Conduct and were fined 50 percent of their match fees.

Besides that they have earned 3 demerit points beside their name. On field umpires Ranmore Martinesz and Mahfuzur Rahman brought the charges against two cricketers. Third umpire Morshed Ali Khan and fourth umpire Mujahiduzzaman also provided their support in this regard.
