The team can adapt under any coach: Mashrafe

The era of Chandika Hathurusingha has come to an end or not is still a question. It will be cleared soon as Hathurusingha will come to Bangladesh within one or two days.

Discussions have already been started of who will be the next coach. The question was raised today in front of the ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza whether BCB will take opinions of the players or not.

In reply to that question, Mashrafe said: “In the last 16-17 years the foreign coaches which came here were chosen by BCB, I don’t remember such time when they took opinion of us. I still think there is no need of discussing with us.”

He added: “Our job is to play. No matter who ever comes, we have to play according to his plans. It doesn’t’ matter who comes. Whoever will come, BCB will obviously take interview of him. He will be taken after a lot of thinking.”

Mashrafe also said that he will support BCB’s decision: “We are under BCB. The decision which BCB will take, we have to support them and still Hathurusingha’s resignation isn’t confirmed yet. BCB will discuss with him. If he stays, then its good and if doesn’t stay then the board will start thinking whom to take. No matter which coach comes, we will get adapted under him.”
