Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced 32-man preliminary squad for the upcoming Tri-nation series (which will be played by Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe) alongside the bilateral home series against Sri Lanka. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ ৩২ সদস্যের প্রাথমিক দল ঘোষণা]
Anamul Haque Bijoy, Nasir Hossain, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Sadman Islam Anik have earned call-up in the preliminary squad of Bangladesh for the upcoming two major events.
Apart from them, Abu Jayed Rahi, Abul Hasan Raju, Sunzamul Islam, Nazmul Islam Apu alongside batsman Ariful Haque who performed well during the fifth season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), have also included in the squad.
It can be mentioned that, Bangladesh is going to host a Tri-nation series after a long awaited gap of 8 years. The Tri-series will kick-off from 15 January and it will run till 27 January.
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will participate alongside hosts Bangladesh in the Tri-nation series. All of the matches will be played at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
After that, Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka for a two-match Test and T20Is series. The bilateral series between these two teams will start from 31 January.
