Debutant Ambris creates unique feat

Sunil Ambris has created an unique feat as he becomes the only cricketer to be dismissed hit wicket for a golden duck and to open the account with a six on debut.

Ambris became a part of an unfortunate moment on debut against New Zealand on day one of the first Test in Wellington. He was dismissed hit wicket off Neil Wagner in his very first ball. Before him, no one was dismissed hit wicket in the first ball on debut.

However, he became the sixth cricketer to score his first runs with a six. He hooked Trent Boult for a six in his third ball of the second innings. He made 18 runs in West Indies’ second innings.
