Six years have been passed since Taskin Ahmed played his last national league match back in 2011. The flamboyant fast bowler is now all set to play in the last round of ongoing national league for Dhaka Metro.
The news has been confirmed to one of the online portals on Monday. He said, “I missed the opportunity of participating in the leagues for one and half years for knee injury; busy schedules of national team is another reason for being absence in domestic cricket.”
“I always want to play in domestic matches; I miss much playing in the leagues. Now I want to play regularly in domestic cricket,” Taskin said.
Playing 15 first class matches, Taskin Ahmed grabbed 29 wickets. In 64 list A matches, the 22 year old pacer bagged 94 wickets.
