Bangladesh won convincingly against Namibia and Canada in their first two matches. But they lost to England by seven wickets in Queenstown in their last group match. England have finished as group champions in Group C.
Group C’s two teams’ clashes will be against Group B teams. India have won all their matches in Group B. So they will face Bangladesh in the fourth quarter-final on January 26 (Friday) at Queenstown Events Centre. Australia and England will lock horns on January 23.
Sunday is the last day of the group stages of U19 World Cup. The battle for the final phrase of the tournament will begin on next Friday.
Bangladesh’s match against India will begin at 10:30 local time (3:30 Bangladesh Standard Time). It will be telecasted live on television.
