Even bad bowlers do well under Mashrafe: Anamul

Bangladesh have won their first two matches of the tri-nation series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka respectively including earning a bonus point. It needs no saying the team is doing wonders under skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.

Opener Anamul Haque who made a comeback in national team after 3 years also hails the leadership of Mashrafe. In a press conference on Sunday, Anamul said: “Seeing Mustafizur back at his best is something very delightful for us. We feel very happy seeing him bowl. It feels good to see him.”

About Mashrafe: “Under Mashrafe bhai’s captaincy, even the bad bowlers gets the confidence of doing well. Staying with him can make you learn many things. I believe the bowling unit is very good under Mashrafe’s captaincy. Everyone is trying to make them better. The management is also happy with the bowlers.”

Anamul added: “We have a lot of experienced senior cricketers who can single-handedly win matches for us. I think everyone is playing with their freedom which is really important for the side.”

Bangladesh will play their third match in the tri-nation series against Zimbabwe on 23rd January at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
