Mashrafe out of trouble, Rubel’s injury endangers

Rubel will miss Mashrafe a lot

According to latest reports revealed, Mashrafe is now out of danger; his right hand ring finger was shoot by a powerful back drive from hard hitter Sabbir Rahman while Mashrafe attempted to stop the ball on his own bowling.

But X – ray reports visibly affirmed bruises in pacer Rubel Hossain’s left hand thumb.

Bangladesh Cricket Board physiotherapist Debashish Roy Chowdhury said, “We will do another X – ray on Thursday and will be able to find out the exact nature of injury after dealing with the reports.”

He further informed Rubel might face no trouble during bowling but he is restricted to bat now.

On the other hand, opener Imrul Kayes also have thin line fracture in his finger which was inflicted during practice sessions.

The national team squad members have been passing through intense practice sessions from the beginning of the year at the Mirpur Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

The tri-nation series consists of Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will begin from 15th of January with the match between hosts and Zimbabwe.

Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in the two match Test series and similar number of T20I matches after the end of the tri-nation series.
