The beginning of 2018 has been an especially cold winter for Bangladesh; since past several years, the country did not experience such foggy and windy winter season with temperature dropping down below 15 degrees in the capital city Dhaka every day.
Since all the matches of the forthcoming tri-nation series are scheduled as day-night undertakings, mist will definitely play a greater role in the outcome. With that intense cold might produce quite uncomfortable phenomenon even for the hosts.
To get acquainted with the condition, cricketers is also practicing under flood light. Bangladesh middle order batsman Sabbir Rahman conveyed confidence about the preparation and expressed high hopes of getting ready with whatever condition might come forward.
He said, “We have been practicing under lights for last three – four days. If Almighty wishes, we will be able to absorb the situation.”
He also said, “Actually cricket becomes far more competitive now a days. If we will be able to showcase our natural game, the result would be positive for us. We are focusing match by match.”
Bangladesh cricketers have sound friendship with many opposition cricketers of both Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe team. Sabbir said, off field acquaintance would not lead to give any lee way to opposition in the playing field.
“We all know each other out of the field; some of them are close friends. But within the boundary line of cricket field, every opposition is a foe. We will try to exhibit good cricket so that no one can take us lightly,” Sabbir Rahman reckoned.
