Because of the absence of Shakib, three spinners has been included in the squad for the Chittagong Test and one of them is Abdur Razzak who is set to make a comeback after a long time for Bangladesh. The other two spinners are Sunjamul Islam and Tanbir Hayder.
But to fill the absence of Shakib, it will still be difficult, Razzak believes. In a press conference on Monday, Razzak said: “Shakib is not only country’s best, he is best all-rounder in the world. His place is hard to fill. Because to fill his place, the team has to take one bowler and one batsman too. But still after that, the absence will be filled or not is still a doubt.”
Razzak also said he was also shocked like everyone when he heard he has been included in the squad: “Obviously its a good feeling. But I was very surprised, I never thought something like this might happen. When I heard first, I couldn’t believe it.”
Razzak added: “I am planning normally. I don’t want to do anything out of the box. If I get chance, I will surely try to give my best. I always think about the present.”
