Confident Miraz wants to do well in Sri Lanka

Ahead of the upcoming Nidhas Trophy in Sri Lanka, Mehedi Hasan Miraz expressed his excitement as it will be the first T20I tri-series for him. He has said his aim is to give his best in the series.

“This is my first tri-series. Earlier, I never played any T20I tri-series. So the first goal is to give my best,” said a confident Miraz on Wednesday.

Tigers T20I skipper Shakib Al Hasan has been out of cricket in recent times due to injury. So Miraz wants to give his best with both bat and ball to fill up his gape.

“Shakib bhai was not available in the Sri Lanka series. Probably he would not be available in first 2-3 matches of this series too. Although it be very tough, still I would try to play the role of him,” added MIraz.

Talking about Bangladesh’s tour to Sri Lanka in 2017, “I want to say a thing, we drew all the series in Sri Lanka last year. We won Test too. They had been going through tough time but they came back very strongly.

Meanwhile, the Promising all-rounder does not want to remember the recent failures of his team as he said, “It happens in cricket. I am looking forward to doing well on their soil.”
