The finger injury, at last, left Shakib Al Hasan. The prolific all – rounder was forced to miss the whole Test series and the T20I series after getting hurt the left hand finger during the Tri-nation series.
On Thursday, Shakib Al Hasan started preparing himself in the practice sessions for the forthcoming Nidahas Trophy. The preparation started with running in the BCB Academy field.
The next one and half hour he spent in the gymnasium. After almost two hours of practicing, Shakib Al Hasan informed that his finger pain has almost diminished.
BCB physiotherapist Debashish Chowdhury told to the media that Shakib Al Hasan might need several more days to overcome from the situation.
Debashish Chowdhury said, “He will soon be able to bowl. But the concern is when he will be able to bat again. Now, Shakib can unfold 50 to 60 percent of the injured finger. It might require three to four days more to start batting practice.”
“If everything will be alright, we can expect him to play in the Nidahas Trophy,” BCB Physio said.
