While talking to one of the television channels, Shakib Al Hasan explained his conditions in detail, “The stitches will be removed on 10th; physicians said I will be able to move my finger once stitches would be taken down.”
“So, I’m hoping to play if my finger will feel better after moving several days before scheduled matches,” he said.
Highly appreciating the performance and skills of little dynamo Mominul Haque who hammered back to back hundreds in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Chittagong, Shakib Al Hasan said, “When a batsman plays a big knock in one innings, many of us generally think, he might not perform well in the other one. But Mominul is a kind of batsman who possess the temperament and ability to play well in each and every innings.”
“I will not be surprised at all if I will see him hitting hundreds in next two innings as well,” the world number one all-rounder in all formats of the game reckoned.
Shakib Al Hasan provided the edge to the hosts in the series deciding Test in Dhaka saying, “I think there will be a good fight. The way we came back in Chittagong will supply a lot of confidence to our cricketers. Hope Mahmudullah will guide the team for a better run.”
