Pakistan cricket team have completed T20 series whitewash over Windies on Tuesday, after beating the visitors by 8 wickets in the third and final Twenty20 international in Karachi. Batting first at the National Stadium in Karachi, Windies put a dependable total of 153 in the scoreboard. Although they lost opener Chadwick Walton to Mohammad Nawaz for a nine-ball duck, the other opener Andre Fletcher was the highest run scorer of Windies innings, scoring 52 off 43 balls hitting four boundaries and three maximums.
In reply Pakistan had a superb start as they raced to 61 in the sixth over with left-handed opener Fakhar Zaman scoring 40 off just 17 balls. He smashed two sixes and six boundaries in his short but match winning innings.
Apart from Fathar Zaman, his partner Babar Azam scored a half-century. He struck six boundaries in an accomplished 40-ball 51, putting on 51 alongside No.3 Hussain Talat. Although Babar went back to pavilion when Pakistan were 40 runs short the target Talat finished the match with an unbeaten 31.
