Khulna won the match in a thriller
Khulna Division stole the match against Rangpur by just 13 runs in the last day of the match. At the end of the third day, Khulna was very close to end the match early in the last day.

But today Rangpur survived very well and lost when they were in a good position to win the match. In the first innings, trailing by Khulna’s 220 runs, Rangpur managed to score 208 runs and gave Khulna the lead of 12 runs.

The young talent Mehedi Hasan Miraz picked up six wickets for Khulna. Then Khulna didn’t able to increase their lead much in the third innings. They managed to score just 187 runs and gave Rangpur the target of 200 runs.

Sanjit Saha took 7 wickets for Rangpur to help them pull back their opponent. Chasing the target of 200 runs, Rangpur lost their wicket continuously. Wicket-Keeper Dhiman Ghosh tried to save the match by scoring 56 runs with the help of tale-enders.

At last, bowler Sadman Hossain gave his best to win the match for Rangpur but failed. Khulna won the match by 13 runs. Veteran Abdur Razzak and Mehedi Hasan Miraz both took 4 wickets in this innings. But the under-19 captain Miraz won the man of the match award for his great performance with both bat and bowl.

Chittagong-Barisal match ended in no contest

At Chittagong’s Jahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium home team Chittagong dominated the whole match against Barisal. They posted a huge total of 467 runs in the first innings losing 7 wickets and then declared their innings.

Then with a load of 467 runs, Barisal managed to score 346 runs in the second innings. Leading by 121 runs in the third innings, Chittagong scored 52 runs by losing 0 wickets.

After that, both captain relativized the draw of this match. The dashing opener of National team Tamim Iqbal scored 137 runs in the first innings while Tasamul Haque supported him by scoring 107 runs to post a large total of 467 runs.

Sohag Gazi took 3 wickets and Al-Amin took 2 wickets for Barisal in the first innings. Trailing by 467 runs, Barisal ended their first innings scoring 346 runs. Al-Amin was the highest scorer by scoring 72 runs.
In the third innings of the match, Chittagong was in a good position again with a total of 52 runs with 10 wickets in hand. But as there was no chance of any result, the match finished in a draw. 1 of 1
