England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler, who has signed for Comilla Victorians for the fifth edition of Bangladesh Premier League, is expected to be paid 2 crore taka in the tournament (200 000 British pound). [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ কুমিল্লা থেকে দুই কোটি টাকা পাচ্ছেন বাটলার]

This will be first BPL season for the English star cricketer. He chose BPL ahead of South Africa’s Global T20 League which will also be held during the same time.

A report on mentioned that Buttler will be paid £200,000 (2,10,00,000 Bangladeshi taka). He was offered to play in Global T20 League but he changed his mind due to the amount of money he will be paid.

Buttler also plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL. He has played 185 T20 matches so far. In 165 innings, he has aggregated 3712 runs at a strike rate of 147.53 including 21 fifties. In the T20 Internationals, he scored 984 runs in 56 matches (48 innings) with five half-centuries at 139.77.

The Lancashire batsman has been in good form for his team in the NatWest T20 Blast 2017. He scored three fifties so far with his career-best score of 80* in July.

Other English players- Dawid Malan, Liam Dawson, Chris Jordan have signed for Sylhet Surma Sixers. Luke Wright will be playing for Rajshahi Kings. England seamer Liam Plunkett is also searching for a BPL franchise.

The BPL 2017 will start from November 2 with Dhaka Dynamites vs Sylhet match.
