Bangladesh ‘A’ end series with big win

Bangladesh 'A' defeat Ireland 'A' by 8 wickets in third matchIn the match played just to maintain the scheduled, Bangladesh ‘A’ registered an emphatic win over visiting Ireland ‘A’ in Cox’s Bazar international stadium.

Bangladesh ‘A’ led by Nazmul Hossain Shanto defeated Ireland ‘A’ by 76 runs.

In the beginning of the show, Bangladesh ‘A’ batted first after losing the toss; the home team posted a competitive total in the board losing 6 wickets in their 50 overs despite losing early wickets.

Anamul Haque Bijoy, the opening batsman of Bangladesh ‘A’ departed scoring 13 runs and when skipper Nazmul Hossain Shanto also got out in 26, Yasir Ali and Shadman Islam took the hold of the team and rescued from the initial disaster.

Yasir Ali and Shadman Islam partnered for 132 runs in the third wicket as Bangladesh ‘A’ proceeded smoothly.

Yasir Ali was unbeaten scoring 102 runs in 101 deliveries while Shadman Islam made 62.

In reply, Ireland ‘A’ could reach in 210 runs before they were bowled out in 43.3 overs.

Abu Hider Rony claimed 3 wickets in this match as well conceding 35 runs. For Ireland ‘A’ Tector scored 66 and Anderson added 45 runs.

Yasir Ali was adjudged man of the match.
