South African skipper Faf du Plessis is ruled out of the T20I series against Bangladesh due to injury.

While batting on 91 in the 3rd ODI, Faf du Plessis hurt his back and had to left the field. After the scans, it was confirmed that he will miss the T20I series. JP Duminy will lead the side instead of du Plessis.

With this injury, South Africa’s injury list has grown even bigger. Their three experienced players Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Chris Morris all are not available due to injury. 

The two T20I matches will be held on 26th and 29th October at Bloemfontein and Potchefstroom respectively.
