When bad time comes, it comes with all disasters. Series losses, crucial players injured, bowlers not in form, all happening in the Bangladesh team. And, after series loss in both Test and ODI series, the Tigers will be at Bloemfontein on Thursday to play the first T20I against South Africa.
Bangladesh have nothing to lose and despite of all the losses, they will be looking forward to earn some pride in the last two matches from the tour.
Earlier in the series, Bangladesh were completely dominated by the Proteas and had to face big defeats in both the formats of the game. Be it Mushfiqur Rahim or Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, no one could take the team back to winning ways.
Its time for the new T20I captain Shakib Al Hasan to step up and make the wounded Tigers roar again. Shakib, who is known as an aggressive captain can lead the team from front if he can deliver an all-round performance.
With his attacking mindset, things can go in Bangladesh’s way if they perform as an unit. Key players Tamim Iqbal and Mustafizur Rahman are already sent back to Bangladesh due to injury and without them it will be a mighty task for Shakib and his men to crawl back in the series if the team doesn’t perform together.
The first T20I match at Bloemfontein will begin at 10:00 pm (BDT) and the match will be telecasted on BTV, GTV and Masranga TV.
