SA aim top ODI spot clean sweeping Bangladesh

SA aim top ODI spot clean sweeping Bangladesh With the three match one day international series looming up within two days from now on, South Africa is hovering around to claim the number one spot in International Cricket Council ranking. The Proteas would move to the top spot if they could sweep Bangladesh in all matches of the series.

South Africa is now standing at number two, one point less than the top claimer India, who, dodged the Proteas from the top spot last month, beating Australia 4-1 in the five match ODI series.

However, the Proteas will go ahead of India with decimal fraction of points with a 2-0 lead in the 3 match series and would gather 121 points in case of 3-0.
