Bangladesh has many talents who remain hidden for many reasons for years. Some of them may try to raise their heads but within a short period of time we forget their name. He has a record of hitting triple century in under- 15 national school cricket competition held in February, 2015. That wonder boy from Lalmanirhat, Mostafiz may play in BPL this year.
It will be no wonder to see him batting for Rangpur Riders since he has been short listed in Talent Hunt event organized by Rangpur Riders franchise.
Rangpur Riders have searched for talents and for this they have directed the program which was held in Cricket Garden, Rangpur this 27th to 29th September. Top ten players have been selected from almost one and a half thousand participants of 16-23 years age range. Wonder boy Mostafiz is on that selected ten players. But Rangpur Riders authority haven’t decided when they will join in the camp for practice but soon they will.
Mostafiz, in 2015, a class ten student of Lalmanirhat Government High School surprised everyone with his amazing classy 325 runs in a match of national school championship trophy held in Lalmanirhat Sheikh Kamal Stadium. After that historic three tons he became a topic of news of several media. But gradually his name has been forgotten.
Currently the name Mustafizur Rahman implies to a face of a young left arm pace magician. But this Mostafiz of Lalmanirhat dreams that one day a good batsman named Mostafiz will come to mind of everyone.
He said with excitement, “I dream of playing in international level oneday. I think I am already one step ahead to make my dream come true by being selected in Talents Hunt organized by Rangpur Riders.”
