Veteran campaigner Mahmudullah Riyad guided Khulna Titans to a comfortable victory of 5 wickets against Chittagong Vikings in the 18th match of the Bangladesh Premier League.

The Titans have eclipsed the victory target of 160 runs losing 5 wickets with 10 balls to spare in the innings.

Mahmudullah Riyad is unbeaten scoring 48 runs and sealed the victory for his team.

Opener Rilee Rossouw is the highest scorer of the team scoring 49 runs in the beginning.

In the first segment of the second match of the day, Anamul Haque Bijoy scored enough runs to take Chittagong Vikings making a good first innings to defend. As like a tradition in this season, Khulna Titans sent opposition to bat first after winning the toss.

The Vikings stumbled in the very first over, skipper Luke Ronchi (3 off 5 ball) was caught by Mahmudullah Riyad off the bowling of Abu Jayed in the final delivery of the first over.

Chittagong Vikings presided over the mishap quickly in the batting of Anamul Haque and Soumya Sarkar. They figured 95 runs in the second wicket partnership.
