No turning back from Hathurusingha?

It has been a week of drama after Chandika Hathurusingha sent letter to BCB for resignation. Soon after receiving the later, BCB tried to reach him, but didn’t get any response from the coach yet.

As soon as Hathurusingha’s resignation will be confirmed, BCB will start to look for a new coach. Till then former Bangladesh all rounder Khaled Mahmud Sujon can be the interim coach.

It seems no turning back from Hathurusingha as he removed his profile picture wearing Bangladesh’s jersey and also removed info as Bangladesh coach on his twitter account.

Hathurusingha is the most successful coach of Bangladesh on paper. In this year, they won Tests against Australia, England and Sri Lanka. But all started to fall apart after the team suffered 7-0 against South Africa last month.

Some reports suggest that Hathurusingha is having negotiations with Sri Lanka for becoming their coach and it can soon be confirmed after BCB accepts his resignation. 1 of 1
