Papon told reporters: “Pybus’ presentation was obviously good. I have no doubt in that. But the thing is that he discussed about the future. He will work with a 10-year plan.

The 2019 World Cup is coming near and thinking about that, the board will only select him if his plans fit in for the World Cup, told Papon: “We have to look two things, short term and long term. World Cup is coming. The things he want right now, we might can’t give him. But if his plans work, then it will be good for Bangladesh cricket.”

The board will surely take some time to take the final decision. They will seat with the coaching staff of the National team and the three captains on 9th December to discuss. Before taking the final decision, two-three more coaches will come and give their presentation. 1 of 1
