Youngster Shanto outstrips everyone in Beep Test in day-1

The conditioning camp for the forthcoming Tri-nation series and the bilateral series against Sri Lanka has started on Wednesday. All the cricketers enrolled in the primary squad except limited over captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes and Mohammad Mithun have joined in the camp.

In the first day, cricketers went through winding up fitness through ‘Beep Test’ where young gun Nazmul Hossain Shanto excelled from everyone in the team. He achieved 12.10 score; national team wicket keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim stood in the second position.

The fitness session was taken care by local trainer of the Bangladesh Cricket Board Iftekharul Islam. He sounded his satisfaction with the fitness level of cricketers after the Beep Test.

“The total team average would be above 11.5. Everyone is conscious about their fitness. Cricketers spend time in gymnasium whenever they get time,” he said.

The fitness training will be continued until 1st of January, 2018.
