BCB to enforce stern rules on media dealing

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has imposed strict rules upon all national team cricketers about talking to the media. From now on, they will be subjected to prior permission of BCB CEO, media committee chairman and manager.

On Monday an order in this regard was sent to the offices of related people. It is said that no national team cricketers, team management members, selection committee members and BCB staff are allowed to talk to any kind of media – radio, television, print media, web portals or news agencies without prior permission from BCB CEO, media committee chairman or senior manager.

Any posts in the social media that can be harmful to Bangladesh cricket anyway are also banned under this new rule.

Pre and post-match including non-match day interviews will be out of this particular rule.

BCB have the right to punish any concern people under this rule in case of breach. 1 of 1
