Kusal Mendis has made a comeback in the 16-man squad. He was out of squad in Sri Lanka cricket team’s recently concluded tour of India. He was dropped due to poor form. But all on a sudden, he has been picked for the Bangladesh tour so that he can regain lost confidence.
Apart from Kusal, another cricketer Akila Dananjaya, the 24-year old offspinner, has also earned call-up in the squad.
