Selectors make your heart bigger: Rasel

The Dhaka Premier League (DPL) will kick off on 5th February and on Thursday, the players draft have been revealed where 227 cricketers are picked. After seeing the list, pacer Syed Rasel who once was a famous face in the national team has heavily criticized the CCDM.

For the upcoming DPL, Rasel has been placed in the C grade category in the players draft and that has disappointed the left arm pacer.

After the list was revealed, Rasel on his facebook account gave a status and criticized the selectors. He wrote: “I am saying this to the selectors, make your heart bigger. You should not have insult the two Test playing cricketers. You tell us to respect, but you guys yourself don’t know how to respect. Check the stats, we play cricket by performing, not by showing our faces.”

After recovering from a long time injury, Rasel made a comeback in the last edition of DPL. He played for Legends of Rupganj in that season. He played 6 matches and took 8 wickets. Though the performance was not so outstanding, he was economical and he proved his worth again by taking 4 wickets in the last match of the league. 1 of 1
