There was no head coach in the tri-nation series and also in the Test series against Sri Lanka. But there was Khaled Mahmud Sujon as technical director. Before the start of the tri-series Sujon said in a press conference that the duty of a technical director is same as the coach.

After facing several criticism, Sujon thinks its hard to continue the job. He said in a press conference on Monday: “If someone doesn’t like me, then that person will not like me if I do anything good. I did so many good things, still I didn’t hear anything good from people.”

Sujon added: “No matter in the media or in the social media, I always have been said bad. I also heard that I may get hit if I go outside. This is very awkward that you have to get hit on streets for playing cricket.”

Sujon also said that he is losing his interest to continue the job: “It is a very big thing that I am still alive in this country after Bangladesh’s loss. I always worked for Bangladesh for the sake of the country, I didn’t do anything for my own interest. To be honest, I lost interest to work anymore.” 1 of 1
