Bangladesh limited over skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, surrounded by a bunch of prodigies in the National Hifzul Qur’an Competition, promised he will avail himself in any call from Holy Qur’an learning program. He said so while handing over rewards to child winners of ‘National Hifzul Qur’an Competition – 2018.’
Performed Holy Omrah several weeks ago, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is busy in domestic cricket while Bangladesh goofed around against Sri Lanka in the T20I series at home.
The national star appreciated the Hafez children from all around the country saying the country is glorified when these young Hafez children win in international competitions.
The competition started in December last year with six thousand child Hafez registering from all around the country. The final of three categories of the competition was held at the Bashundhara International Convention Center on Saturday.
Mashrafe handed over the prize to Yasir Arafat, the 12 year old boy from Cox’s Bazar who memorized the whole Qur’an in just 86 days.
Mashrafe along with other dignitaries gave awards to other Hafez as well; the winners of 30 para (the whole Qur’an) group are Mustakim Billah, Sun Anir Jaman, Omar Faruque, Safwan and Ruhul Amin. 1 of 1
