Team of the tournament announced; 4 Indian players included

The 2018 U-19 World Cup has been a tournament where the young stars showed what they are capable of. India U-19 won their fourth World Cup after beating Australia convincingly in the final. [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ যুব বিশ্বকাপে আইসিসির ‘উদীয়মান তারকা’ আফিফ]  

The men in blue dominated the other teams throughout the tournament and so as their players. India’s Subhman Gill scored 50+ in every match of the tournament except the final and he is rightly so included in the ESPN Cricinfo’s team of the tournament.

Apart from him, Indian skipper Prithvi Shaw, Manjot Kalra and Kamlesh Nagarkoti are also included in team.

Two players from Pakistan U-19 and two players from South Africa U-19 are also included in the team. The Afghanistan U-19 played some amazing cricket throughout the tournament and two players from their team are also included in the team.

Bangladesh U-19 all-rounder Afif Hossain is the only Bangladeshi who has made it to the team of the tournament. The young star has delivered some amazing all-round performances throughout the tournament. He has scored 276 runs including four half centuries with an average of 46. He also picked up 9 wickets with the ball including a five-wicket haul.
