Indian national team cricketer Yusuf Pathan arrived in Dhaka to participate in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL); he will play for Prime Bank Cricket Club, the news has been assured by the club authorities on Thursday.
In a statement released by Prime Bank Cricket Club, it is informed that the 35 year old batsman will feature in this year’s tournament in the match against Mohammedan Sporting Club, scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Yusuf Pathan has prior experience to play in DPL; last year he joined Abahani Limited upon an invitation of Shakib Al Hasan.
The hard hitter wore the Indian national team jersey in 2012 since last. Before that he played 57 one day international matches along with 22 T20I matches.
In 177 ‘List A’ matches, Yusuf scored 4,258 runs with an average of 33.79. He has 114 ‘List A’ wickets as well.
Started the tournament with a win, Prime Bank has been defeated in three consecutive matches. They are now standing at number nine with 2 points.
On Saturday, Prime Bank will face Mohammedan Sporting Club in the fifth round match at no. 3 ground of BKSP. 1 of 1
