On Friday, BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon said that the board is preferring Bangalore instead of Dehradun to play the three match one day international series.
He therefore, said, “We told them (BCCI) to reconsider the venue location so that it is convenient for our players.”
“As we will tour West Indies for a full tour after the Afghanistan series, it would be better for players if the venue is convenient for travelling,” he said.
“Dehradun is fine but we are looking for a convenient venue and it would be better if the series can be held in Kolkata or Bangalore. Obviously, we are in talks and I am sure BCCI will help us in this matter,” he added further.
On June 14, Afghanistan who recently been awarded full membership of the International Cricket Council, will play their first ever Test match, that will be against India. 1 of 1
