After playing 2 years with Hyderabad, Mustafizur’s destination for his 3rd IPL has been changed and he is now part of the defending champions Mumbai Indians.
It has been noticed in the earlier seasons that Mustafizur is not good in English and as a result of that, the coaching staff and the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner used to find it difficult to communicate properly with Mustafizur.
Keeping that in mind, Mumbai Indians have done something different. They have hired former Bangladesh opener Nafees Iqbal who is also the elder brother of Tamim Iqbal. Nafees will work as a translator of Mustafizur and will help him to communicate better with the coaching staff and players of Mumbai Indians.
Nafees has already reached in Mumbai to join the team along with Mustafizur. In the last two seasons, Sunrisers Hyderabad took the help of google translator to communicate with Mustafizur. This time this work will be done by Nafees according to the Mumbai Indians.
The eleventh edition of IPL will begin on April 7 and we might see Mustafizur in the very first match as Mumbai Indians will be taking on Chennai Super Kings in the season opener. 1 of 1
