AB de Villiers masterminded another great knock for Royale Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2018, guided his team to store a massive 205 runs against Chennai Super Kings in the 24th match of the season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
The 68 runs made by the Proteas giant was his 25th Indian Premier League fifty.
Coming to bat at number three after the departure of Virat Kohli, de Villiers stunned the Chennai Super Kings’ bowlers with massive blows to reach the half century in 23 deliveries.
In the fourth ball of the tenth over delivered by Imran Tahir, de Villiers’ exploded a 111 meter six – the biggest of the tournament so far. The ball lost over the roof of the deep midwicket.
The monster hit was accompanied by another seven sixes all together in the innings that ended in the fifth ball of the fourteenth over.
With a strike rate of 226.67, de Villiers lofted 2 shots to the boundary as well.
