Delhi Daredevils missed out on reaching playoffs for another season despite they changed their skipper to Shreyas Iyer from Gautam Gambhir. Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore are also knocked out after suffering 30-run loss to Rajasthan Royals in their last match.

Mumbai Indians kept their hopes alive after sealing a thrilling win over Kings XI Punjab in their previous match. MI and KXIP have had a contrasting IPL this season. MI started miserably but found feet in the later stage while KXIP are falling apart after making a good start.

RR are placed fourth on the points table at a negative net run rate. KXIP have a even worse NRR. Mumbai, on the other hand, have the a healthy run rate.

Mumbai Indians will take on Delhi Daredevils in the first game of Sunday at Feroz Shah Kotla. To qualify, they will only need to win as they have a better run rate.

Kings XI will face powerhouse CSK in the last league game of this season in Pune. They have a slight complicated equation. First, they need DD to beat MI. Then in order to have a better NRR than Royals, they must beat Chennai by at least 53 (or more) runs or chase any target with 38 (or more) balls to spare.

Rajasthan will also need Delhi to beat Mumbai and then KXIP lose. Or even if KXIP win, they must win by less than 53 runs or chase target with less than 38 balls remaining.
