Once again Bangladesh batsmen were crumbled against quality seam attack of the opposition leaving rare hope to survive the defeat this time as well. West Indies, in their second innings, were 19 for the loss of Kraig Brathwaite (bowled by Shakib Al Hasan). At stumps of day two, the Windies are leading by 224 runs.
Mominul Haque continued his bad run with the bat, out without scoring in the second delivery he faced.
Bangladesh lost four wickets in 79 runs before Tea of the second day. Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim took the team to cross hundred run mark with a stand of 38; the partnership, however, broke down by Keemo Paul before it turned out to be a fruitful one.
Bangladesh’s hopes lost with Tamim back in the pavilion scoring a dogged out highest 47 runs in which he faced 105 balls.
