Rubel to be sent back home on disciplinary ground

Sudden speculations around quick bowler Rubel Hossain has unsettled the Bangladesh team camp before the second and last Test against West Indies. It is heard that the pacer has had involvement in breaking disciplinary actions. Further disclosure on the incident revealed even physical collisions of team mates with the pacer after exchanging heated words.

The policy makers of the team, although denied any such occurrences, chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu indicated about the possibility of bringing Rubel Hossain back in the country before the final Test match.

“Although Rubel Hossain is in the 16 men squad, we are thinking him to bring back in the country,” Minhajul Abedin said.

“Mustafizur proved himself fit; so we have decided to curtail one from the 16 men squad to make Mustafizur in,” the chief selector explained.

Reports revealed that both Captain Shakib Al Hasan and Coach Steve Rhodes expressed their dissatisfaction upon Rubel Hossain’s’ activities all along the West Indies tour.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has already included Mustafizur Rahman in Bangladesh ‘A’ squad after the 22 year old pacer proved his fitness. 1 of 1
