3 players KXIP should drop in IPL 2019

Kings XI Punjab sets in fourth beating Gujarat Lions

The 11th edition of Indian Premier League season is completely finished. The Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals returned after serving a two-year ban. Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings clinched their third IPL trophy by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final and proved why they are one of the greatest team in the history of T20 cricket.

Everyone made a fun of Super Kings at the end of IPL auction. But, the over-aged cricketers proved their experiences in this season. However, it was another disappointing season for Kings XI Punjab. The Kings XI Punjab dominated the points table in the first-half before being thrashed by the opponents in the second-half and eventually missed out the playoff chance.

The Bengal cricketer has represented Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils and Rising Pune Supergiant before making a debut for Kings XI Punjab. He did not get many chances in the presence of domestic heavyweights like Karun Nair, Mayank Agarwal in the middle order.

However, he got a chance in the second half of the tournament but he managed to score just 47 runs in the 5 games. His average was just 15.66 with a strike-rate of 106.81 and highest knock of 35 came against Chennai Super Kings. It would not come as a surprise if KXIP drops him in 2019.
