Lalmatia captain asks for forgiveness


 

 

Lalmatia cricket club captain Faysal Ahmed has claimed himself as innocent. He was one of the gulity for the four balls 92 runs controversy according to Bangladesh Cricket Board- BCB. He was also blamed as the captain for his bowler costing those runs under an over. The cricket board has banned him for five year, whereas the bowler was banned for ten years. He came towards the Bangladesh Cricket Board- BCB today where he said he had no idea about what was going on. Also Faysal was given the responsibility to lead the side, suddenly.

Faysal said, “I was captain for a day only. Also I knew nothing about this. There was nothing under my control. I asked the bowler but he did not listened to me. I could have change the bowler only if the over was done, there is no way I could have before that.”

He has asked the board to reduce his punishment. Also he has pleaded for forgiveness, “There is only a reason, as I knew nothing or was involved. The board should forgive me. I never realized this would turn so worse during the match.”

Earlier, Lalmatia pacer Sujon gave 92 runs in just four balls as protest to the biased umpiring during the match against Axiom. For which Bangladesh Cricket Board- BCB banned two second division clubs for the entire life where as the two guilty cricketers have been banned for ten years. Along with them the managers, captains and coaches of both the teams are also banned for five years.
