Talking about their performance in the last season, they were pretty decent as they made it to the playoffs by pipping Kolkata Knight Riders in terms of Net Run Rate. While there was a chance for RCB to make a bid for the title, they were knocked out by Sunrisers in the Eliminator.

Virat Kohli-led RCB roped in The Royal Challengers Bangalore had signed Australia’s young promising fast bowler Kane Richardson IPL 2020 auction. Needless to say, the pacer backed out of the whole tournament citing personal reasons.

Richardson would a great asset to the team as he can bowl fast and also get the ball to move around. In his absence, Australia’s Adam Zampa took his place in the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. Since RCB roped in Richardson in IPL 2020, they surely had an interest in him. This is why RCB could possibly get his signature in IPL Auction 2021.
