Mushfiqur expresses disappointment after huge defeat

The runners-up of the last season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Rajshahi Kings is struggling to perform in the ongoing season and they are almost out of the tournament after suffering a huge defeat against Dhaka Dynamites.

Rajshahi lost the match by 99 runs and their fielding has to take most of the blame as they dropped three catches ij the beginning of Dhaka Dynamities’ innings.

Mushfiqur and his men only has one match left and they have no option left rather than winning. On the other side, Rangpur Riders have to lose both of their matches in order for Rajshahi to qualify.

Rajshahi’s icon player Mushfiqur Rahim is disappointed with the team’s performance and he believes their team have better players than the last season: “I am disappointed the way we played as a team. We had a better team than last season.”

The right hand batsman is also disappointed with his own performance: “The problem is we aren’t able to play according to our capability. The experienced players and so as the young playerd are failing to perform well and I am not happy with my own performance too.”

Rajshahi Kings’ last match will be against Chittagong Vikings on 5th Dececmber and it will be the last chance for Mushfiqur and his men to earn some pride in the tournament.
