A golf ball swings Pietersen to jail in GenevaFormer England star Kevin Pietersen was partially arrested in Geneva, Switzerland after swinging a golf ball into the airport.

Posting a picture of himself sitting in a cell at the airport in Geneva, Pietersen told the ‘hopeless swing of the golf ball’ caused him the misfortune in the foreign land.

Showing the golf skill in the airport brought the English star in troublesome affair when the ball entered into the main area of the airport.

The 37 year old ended his career for England on 2014; he was dropped from the squad after the Ashes loss in 2013-14.

The South African born England cricketer was in a bit of agitation, he said, “I tried too hard to be English when I played for England. I always got annoyed when people said I was South African. I concerned myself all the time with what can I say, can I talk differently? But you have to accept, you are what you are. When I played for England I played to win and I was proud to wear the Three Lions but am I English? No, I’m South African.”
